Join the WD Swim Team!

WD Swim School is a growing swim school dedicated to helping build confidence and lifelong swimming skills in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. We're looking for an enthusiastic Deck Supervisor / Aquatic Supervisor to lead our instructional team, ensure a safe learning environment, and deliver an outstanding experience for students and families.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support swim instructors, ensuring lessons follow the WD Swim School curriculum.
Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment while enforcing all aquatic safety policies and procedures.
Respond to emergencies, perform water rescues, and administer First Aid when required.
Monitor student progress and provide coaching and guidance to instructors.
Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student development and address questions or concerns professionally.
Inspect the pool deck and equipment before and after lessons, reporting maintenance or safety issues to management.
Set up, organize, and properly store pool equipment, including lane lines and teaching materials.
Complete accident and incident reports accurately and assist in maintaining a clean, organized facility.
Support instructor training, mentoring, and daily swim school operations.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in an aquatic leadership role (Deck Supervisor, Aquatic Supervisor, Head Swim Instructor, Senior Instructor, or Team Lead).
Previous swim instruction experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for teaching, mentoring, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Current First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguard certifications are required.

Availability

Available to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week (12+ hours).
Evening and weekend availability preferred.
