Full job description

We are currently looking to hire a Kitchen / Cake Production Manager for our ever-growing brand that is Daan Go. Personal growth is important to us. Job Summary

Lead and supervise the daily operations of the cake production team.
Coordinate production schedules to ensure products are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Assign tasks and monitor workflow to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Train, mentor, and support team members in production techniques, food safety, and company procedures.
Ensure consistency in product quality, presentation, and adherence to recipes and specifications.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate ingredient and supply needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe production environment.
Enforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety standards.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime and waste.
Conduct quality checks throughout the production process.
Collaborate with other production departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Assist with hands-on cake production and decorating as needed.
Monitor team performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and team performance.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a commercial bakery, pastry kitchen, or food production environment.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a production setting.
Strong knowledge of cake production techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage production timelines, and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to product quality and consistency.
Proficient in maintaining accurate production records and communicating inventory needs.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
Flexible to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Reliable, accountable, and able to lead by example.

Full time availability and at least one weekend day availability is required

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
