Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, and managing transactions in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong multitasking skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer service within a dynamic restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
Serve customers efficiently while providing friendly and professional customer service
Manage cash register operations, including processing payments and giving accurate change
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, food prep stations, and equipment
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Hours: 30- 40 hours per week

Requirements

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: 0 - 6 months

Pay: $17.60 per hour
