Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all guest requests are met.
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation and quality.
Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines throughout service.
Provide excellent guest services by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
Assist in training new staff members on service standards and procedures.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong background in the food industry.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts.
Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Experience with cashiering duties is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
