Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and consistency, ensuring high-quality food service in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your culinary skills within a professional restaurant setting, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations and equipment
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including sanitation standards and proper use of kitchen tools

Qualifications

Prior food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
Experience with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
Strong understanding of the food industry standards for quality and safety
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward collaboration
Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment are desirable
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
