Transportation Solutions Quinte (TSQ) is a family owned and operated courier/transportation company. While we are based out of Belleville/Trenton, Ontario, we work with drivers and businesses throughout Ontario to move freight across the province. We are looking to add to that team of responsible and hard-working drivers by hiring a driver for our Belleville OAP Route.
Hours: 11.5-13 hours/day (4:30am-5:30pm)
Shifts: 3-4 shifts per week (Monday-Friday)
Pay: $20-$22 per hour + $500-1500 Health Spending Account

Where will I be driving?
The OAP Route has several trucks on the road each day to different locations throughout Ontario. Your day would start and end at our Belleville Hub on one of the following trucks that generally follows the same route each day:
- Truck 1: Belleville - Stirling - Carp - Arnprior - Pembroke
- Truck 2: Belleville - Joyceville - Carp - Cumberland - St. Isidore
- Truck 3: Belleville - Peterborough - Aurora - Hamilton
- Truck 4: Belleville - Port Hope - Courtice - Hamilton
What will I be doing?
As a TSQ delivery driver on the OAP Route you will be transporting used auto-parts which includes large cuts, skidded parts, doors and boxes. In addition to driving, you will be scanning, loading and offloading many items weighing 10-80+ lbs by hand or using a pallet jack.
NOTE: this is a physically demanding job that requires driving, lifting, lowering and carrying packages to ensure damage free and timely pick-ups and deliveries.
Requirements:
- Valid G Class driver’s license with a clean driving record (a driver’s abstract will need to be provided prior to start date).
- Previous experience driving a commercial vehicle is an asset and experience with a 5-ton truck with lift-gate preferred.
- Comfortable driving long distances and in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 10-80+ lbs and move heavy objects by hand and using appropriate equipment.
- Capable of safely securing loads and keeping a vehicle clean and neat.
- Ability to inspect vehicles for basic mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
- Familiarity with MTO and vehicle inspections an asset.
- Familiarity with tablets, scanners, GPS devices and electronic logging systems an asset.
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential. Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision.
