Position Overview

As a Shop Assistant, this is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with tools, and learning new skills. Training will be provided. This role reports to the Shop Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

Follow safety and operating procedures
Complete all tasks according to written and verbal instructions from the supervisor.
Develop and maintain strong product knowledge.
Work off-site when required, including on customer vessels.
Work overtime when needed to meet customer or organizational deadlines.

Skills & Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
Good communication skills and a positive, “can do” attitude.
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
Ability to lift over 50 lbs and work safely in a shop or on a boat.
Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
