Mechanical Assembly (Day Shift)

JGW Machine Limited is one of Ontario's leading metal fabricators, producing a wide range of high-quality metal components for customers across Ontario and worldwide. Our clean, modern, and highly automated 106,000-square-foot facility is located in Southwestern Ontario. At JGW, our capabilities include engineering and design, machining, tooling, and comprehensive quality control. We offer services such as laser welding, CNC machining, production welding, metal spinning, powder coat painting, finishing, and assembly. With a strong tradition of precision, innovation, and excellence, we serve industries globally with short-run, tight-tolerance metal forming and assembly solutions.

Job Summary:

Read and understand paint requirements per Router and Drawing;
Assemble product;
Work in a fast paced environment with minimum supervision;
Maintain cleanliness and organization of area;
Loading and unloading of parts from powder coat line;
Have an innate attention to detail when performing visual inspection of painted parts;
Assembling of product accurately and efficiently;
Packaging of product for shipping;
Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Manager;
Ensure that all business activities are performed with highest ethical standards and in compliance with JGW code of business conduct and in accordance to the JGW Confidentiality Policy.

Skill Requirements:

Good dexterity skills;
Ability to complete assigned tasks in team environment;
Strong hand and eye coordination;
Ability to read prints.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Effort & Work Conditions:

Strong attention to detail and a hands-on, results-oriented mindset
Requires occasional lifting of products up to 30 pounds
Standing for prolonged periods and performing repetitive tasks
May require bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of daily duties
Occasional exposure to warm temperatures during summer months

Location:

This position is located in Princeton, Ontario, just 25 minutes from Kitchener/Cambridge and 10 minutes from Brantford.
