Full job description

Accounts Payable / Finance Admin

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Finance Admin to join our finance team. This role supports accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card reconciliations, financial record management, and general accounting administration.

Key Responsibilities

Process and enter vendor invoices into Sage accounting software
Verify purchase orders, job numbers, cost codes, and supporting documentation
Prepare accounts payable payment runs for review
Reconcile company credit card transactions and receipts
Support accounts receivable activities, including statements and collections follow-up
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes
Support payroll and other accounting administrative functions as required
Provide front-office reception support for visitors and courier deliveries

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounting, or finance administration
Proficiency with accounting software; Sage experience is preferred
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, or a related field is considered an asset
