Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting drinks, engaging with customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and responding to inquiries.
Maintain cleanliness while performing Cleaning duties and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system while ensuring proper food handling and safety protocols are followed.
Monitor customer consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving guidelines.
Assist in managing inventory levels by tracking supplies and reporting shortages as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food industry is preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions efficiently.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
Basic math skills for handling cash and calculating drink orders accurately.
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
