Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Optical Sales Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional eye care and eyewear solutions. In this energetic role, you will assist customers in selecting the perfect frames and lenses, provide expert advice on optical products, and ensure a seamless shopping experience. Your enthusiasm and knowledge will help customers see clearly and feel confident in their choices, making a positive impact every day.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and identify their optical needs through engaging conversations.
Assist clients in selecting eyewear that complements their style, face shape, and prescription requirements.
Provide detailed product information, including lens options, coatings, and frame features, leveraging your knowledge of optical terminology.
Conduct basic vision assessments and help with fitting, adjustments, and repairs to ensure optimal comfort and performance.
Maintain a well-organized sales floor, ensuring displays are attractive and stocked with the latest products.
Process sales transactions accurately using retail POS systems such as Optosys or similar platforms.
Support inventory management by tracking stock levels, receiving shipments, and updating product records.

Requirements

Previous retail sales experience with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Familiarity with optical products, including frames, lenses, coatings, and basic vision terminology.
Experience working with laboratory processes or laboratory experience is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care is advantageous but not mandatory.
Ability to learn quickly about optical technology such as Optosys or similar retail management systems.
Strong communication skills to educate customers effectively on their options and prescriptions.
Experience in optical or retail management roles is desirable for growth opportunities.
