Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meat products for our customers, ensuring that all items meet our standards of excellence. This position requires attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications and customer requests.
Ensure all meat products are handled and stored in compliance with food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat cutting area and equipment.
Assist customers with their meat selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and exceptional service.
Package meat products for display or sale, ensuring proper labeling and pricing.
Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate needs to management.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and uphold company standards.

Experience

Previous experience in meat cutting or butchery is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
Familiarity with kitchen operations and experience in the food industry is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
