Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Year Round Part-Time and Full-Time Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality, food service, and providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. Whether you're looking for a flexible part-time position or a full-time career in the food industry, this role provides valuable experience in a fast-paced, friendly setting.

Duties

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high service standards
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, utensils, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed to support smooth operations
Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and safety standards
Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple tables efficiently

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS and cashiering procedures
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Knowledge of food industry practices including serving, food handling, and food safety protocols
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience

MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN CANADA & HOLD CANADIAN CITIZENSHIP OR OPEN CANADA / ONTARIO WORK VISA

Experience in fine dining or similar is required
