Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment and performing essential sanitation duties. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. The Attendant will play a crucial role in maintaining operational standards while ensuring cleanliness and organization within the facility.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including loader and backhoe
Perform routine cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as required.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
Accept and properly store used oil in designated containment areas.
Execute heavy lifting tasks as needed to support operations.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production goals.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.

Qualifications

Must have a valid drivers licence.
Proven experience, or willingness to learn heavy equipment operation is preferred, including loaders and backhoe.
Strong ability to perform cleaning and sanitation duties effectively.
Capability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
