Sarnia Ford Lincoln is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process, building long-term client relationships, and delivering an exceptional dealership experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for automobiles, and a commitment to achieving sales goals while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

What you'll do day-to-day

Welcome and engage customers in a professional and friendly manner.
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate Ford and Lincoln vehicles, products, and services.
Conduct vehicle presentations, demonstrations, and test drives.
Explain vehicle features, benefits, financing options, warranties, and protection plans.
Develop and maintain a strong customer pipeline through prospecting, referrals, networking, and follow-up activities.
Maintain regular communication with prospective and existing customers to build long-term relationships and encourage repeat business.
Utilize dealership CRM systems to manage customer information, sales activities, and follow-up schedules.
Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall dealership sales objectives.
Stay informed about current vehicle inventory, product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Collaborate with the finance, service, and management teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Assist in dealership marketing events, community outreach initiatives, and promotional activities.
Complete all required sales documentation accurately and in compliance with dealership policies and regulations.

What we're looking for

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Ontario driver's license.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Strong sales aptitude and ability to build rapport with customers.
Proficiency with computer systems and CRM software.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Previous automotive sales experience.
Experience in retail sales, customer service, or related industries.
Knowledge of Ford and Lincoln vehicle products and services.
OMVIC certification or willingness to obtain certification.
