Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent food service to our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is required. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills in a fast-paced, professional setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality, presentation, and consistency
Assist with food prep tasks
Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety and sanitation regulations
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
Support the team during busy service hours by providing timely and courteous food service
Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during meal preparation

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food industry standards
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings
A genuine passion for culinary arts and delivering exceptional dining experiences
