Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in food preparation and restaurant experience to contribute to a dynamic culinary team focused on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and sauces according to established recipes and standards
Cook pizzas to perfection using various cooking methods, including ovens and grills
Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
Assist in food preparation for other menu items as needed
Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or during dine-in service
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Manage inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles, preferably within a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques specific to pizza making
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Kitchen experience that demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and adaptability
Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to quality and cleanliness
