Full job description

Join our team at our busy semi-private golf course! We're looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Servers to provide outstanding service to our members and guests. Whether you're serving golfers after a round, families enjoying a meal, or guests attending weddings and special events, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional dining experience.

Job Summary

As a Server, you will be responsible for providing attentive and professional food and beverage service while ensuring every guest receives a welcoming and enjoyable experience. You'll work closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to deliver excellent service in our year-round restaurant and during tournaments, banquets, and special events.

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Serve meals and beverages while ensuring exceptional customer service.
Process payments and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining area.
Set up and clear tables before, during, and after service.
Assist with banquet and event service as needed.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely orders.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
Perform opening, closing, and side duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications

Previous serving or customer service experience is considered an asset.
Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain) is an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
