Administrative Assistant - Level 1

We are looking for a highly organized, self-motivated Level 1 Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This position reports directly to the Controller. If you enjoy staying organized, learning new systems, and supporting a variety of business functions, we'd love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Controller.
Prepare reports, letters, forms, and other business documents.
Organize and maintain electronic filing systems and company records.
Answer and direct phone calls and emails professionally.
Assist customers and vendors with general inquiries.
Process incoming EFT and cheque payments.
Provide first-level IT support.
Assist with customer and vendor account setup.
Order office supplies for all branch locations.
Assist with employee onboarding paperwork and maintaining employee files.
Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks as required.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with marketing initiatives and social media.
Assist with safety documentation.
Assist with special projects.
Other administrative duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License with a clean abstract required.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems proactively.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and business systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
