Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Sous Chef/Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, exceptional food preparation skills, and extensive experience in restaurant management and food service. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant’s standards. The successful candidate will be passionate about the food industry, possess excellent team management abilities, and demonstrate a commitment to hospitality excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food handling, cooking, and presentation
Assist in menu planning and development to maintain culinary standards
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills in food preparation and service
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
Collaborate with restaurant management to deliver an exceptional dining experience
Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality in the kitchen

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry best practices
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Extensive restaurant management experience preferred
Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
Hands-on experience with kitchen equipment and techniques
Passion for serving high-quality cuisine and delivering excellent customer service
Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
