Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Courier Clerk to support our e-commerce and warehouse operations. The Courier Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders and outbound shipments. This role involves auditing orders, entering shipment data into courier systems, tracking packages, maintaining inventory records, and supporting overall warehouse efficiency while adhering to food safety and workplace safety standards.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Audit and prepare outgoing courier shipments using online courier systems.
Manage and track packages, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
Monitor and communicate inventory levels and shipment/order status updates.
Update warehouse management systems with accurate transaction information.
Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring the correct products and quantities are shipped.
Support inventory control processes through accurate documentation and record keeping.
Report inventory discrepancies, shipment issues, and variances to the Supervisor.
Complete required shipping, inventory, and operational paperwork.
Follow all workplace health and safety policies and compliance regulations.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience

Familiarity with courier shipping platforms and warehouse management systems is considered an asset.

Reliable and punctual with a proven attendance record.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Strong customer service orientation.
Good mathematical and data entry skills.

Required Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Pay Rate: $18/hr

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm
