About the Company

Our client is a professional accounting and advisory firm based in London, Ontario, offering audit, tax, consulting, and business advisory services. Supporting privately held companies, organizations, and individuals with practical financial guidance and long-term strategic planning, they offer a warm, team-oriented environment.

Position Overview

Our client is currently seeking an experienced individual to join their Accounting and Assurance team as a Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading audit, review, and compilation engagements for mid-sized and privately held businesses, including corporate and personal tax review and advising on complex accounting matters. You will manage client engagements across multiple industries, support business development, and lead and mentor team members through coaching, file review, and performance management.

Responsibilities

You will review financial statements prepared by other team members
You will ensure Canadian accounting and assurance standards are met on all engagements
You will provide oversight and guidance on the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
You will effectively manage all assigned client relationships
You will take an active role in leading our accounting & assurance team and will be accountable for the success of the team

Requirements

A CPA designation with over five (5) years of public practice experience
Strong auditing background
A high measure of interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively within the firm and with clients
An in-depth knowledge and execution of Canadian reporting standards
The ability to understand accountability and take ownership of your work

Experience & Certifications

CPA Designation (required)

Candidates with strong public accounting experience, technical accounting knowledge, and a proactive, client-focused leadership approach are encouraged to apply.
