Field Operations Crew Members (Multiple Positions)

Precision Land Solutions Inc. is a leader in agricultural construction, specializing in innovative drainage solutions through technology, innovation, and superior workmanship. We are seeking motivated, hardworking individuals to join our growing field operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, learning new skills, and being part of a team that delivers high-quality projects throughout Manitoba and surrounding areas, such as Saskatchewan and NW Ontario.

All roles currently start in Stanley Manitoba and are deployed to various jobsites in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and NW Ontario. The company provides travel and hotel accommodations when working away from home base area.

Positions Include

Surface Drainage Scraper Operator
Subsurface Drain Tile Crew (Plow, Backhoe, Stringer Tractor, Excavator, and Pipe Connections)
HercBASE Installation Crew

Successful candidates will be willing and able to work across all three divisions as business needs require. Cross-training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a diverse skill set in agricultural construction.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare job sites by loading, transporting, and unloading equipment, materials, and tools.
Safely operate heavy equipment, machinery, power tools, and other construction equipment.
Assist with installation of agricultural drainage systems and HercBASE projects.
Read and follow site plans, specifications, and supervisor instructions.
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and care of equipment and tools.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment.
Use basic mathematics to calculate grades, elevations, measurements, quantities, and production requirements.
Utilize tablets, GPS equipment, and construction software as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Valid driver's licence or the ability to obtain one.
Previous construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment experience is considered an asset but is not required.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

Lift up to 50 lbs.
Climb ladders and equipment.
Work in and around excavations and trenches.
Walk long distances over uneven terrain.
Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, and perform physically demanding work.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Schedule & Travel

Flexible schedule based on seasonal operational requirements.
Ability to work extended hours, overtime, weekends, and holidays when required.
Willingness to travel and stay away from home as project demands require.
