Job description

Inertia Hydrovac strives for excellence when supplying our customers with a variety of services including Hydro-Vac, Combo-Vac and Straight-Vac trucks. We are focused on the execution of proper procedures and safety for every customer and employee.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening (including THC).
Arrive at work fit for duty and punctual on every shift.
Maintain good housekeeping habits.
Complete all assigned jobs with a professional and positive attitude.
Provide overall assistance to the operator on the work site to ensure safe set up, operation and tear down of equipment and supplies.
Maintain consistent communication with the operator both verbally and using hand signals.
Continually scan the work area for potential hazardous conditions and/or changing conditions.
Assist in all other required duties.

Qualifications & Prerequisites:

First Aid & CPR Level C with AED is required for the job (if you don't have it, we will put you through the course).
Confined Space Entry & Rescue, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance Level II and Fall Protection are assets.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends and emergency call-outs as required.
Previous experience in industry is an asset.
Ability to work well with others.
Valid class 5 license and reliable transportation is required.
Clean 5 year drivers abstract.
