We are proud of our 100,000+ member-owners, our 650+ staff members throughout our 20+ Gas Bars, 1 Home Centre, 4 Cardlock/Bulk Fuel Stations, 6 Food Stores, 5 Liquor and 1 Administration Office, as well as future growth.

North Central Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Cashier to join our team at our Home Centre located in Stony Plain, Alberta. Open availability is an asset.

What you’ll do:

Provide a high level of prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service
Scan and process transactions in an efficient manner, resolving customer inquiries as needed
Handle cash, credit and debit transactions in addition to bagging customer groceries
Stock and clean the front-end merchandising areas including facing of shelves in the till area
Complete opening and closing of registers, reconciling tills following established procedures

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

Previous work experience in a Home Centre retail location or building materials industry would be an asset
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail
You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
