About Arcwell Developments

Arcwell Developments is a general contractor specializing in modular and manufactured housing for First Nations communities and private clients across Canada. We partner with manufacturers to deliver turnkey residential projects from site prep through occupancy. We are a growing company with a strong project pipeline and a culture that values autonomy, accountability, and meaningful work.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager based in Atlantic Canada to lead residential construction projects from inception through completion. This is a hybrid position primarily based from a home office with regular on-site presence as project phases require. You will manage scheduling, budgets, subtrades, in-house crews, and client relationships, while reporting directly to senior leadership. Site Foremen will work in tandem with this Project Manager.

This is a hands-on PM role. You'll be expected to own the full project lifecycle, coordinate across multiple stakeholders, and keep your projects moving. If you thrive in a high-autonomy environment with real accountability, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee modular residential construction projects from pre-construction and planning through substantial completion and deficiency close-out.
Work in collaboration with Site Foremen managing in-house trades crews, and subcontractors across active project sites.
Develop and maintain project schedules, look-ahead plans, and budgets; proactively identify and communicate risks to senior leadership.
Procure, schedule, and manage subtrades, suppliers, equipment and materials; negotiate contracts and manage change orders.
Coordinate all site activities including, module delivery and setting, mechanical/electrical connections, and interior/exterior finishes.
Serve as one of the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle; manage expectations and maintain strong relationships.
Lead site meetings and maintain clear, consistent communication with ownership, trades, consultants, and community stakeholders including First Nations leadership and housing coordinators.
Ensure all work meets safety standards, code compliance, and Arcwell's quality benchmarks.
Report progress, budget status, and risk updates to senior leadership on a regular cadence.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager, Site Superintendent, or equivalent with demonstrated experience managing single-family home subdivision projects.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects including full budget ownership, scheduling, and change management.
Experience directly managing trades crews and site foremen in a field environment.
Strong working knowledge of construction sequencing, drawings, and trade coordination.
Proficiency with construction management software and digital tools (MS Office, project scheduling platforms).
Demonstrated cultural awareness and respect when working with First Nations or Indigenous communities; direct experience is a strong asset.
Valid driver's license; ability to travel to project sites across Canada as required.
