Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender and Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Ideal candidates will have experience in food service and a passion for hospitality, with strong skills in customer interaction, food safety, and efficient service. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant restaurant environment dedicated to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
Serve food items promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for billing purposes
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures are followed at all times
Maintain a clean and organized work area including bar, dining space, and service stations
Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers professionally and courteously
Assist in food preparation when necessary, adhering to health regulations
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; hospitality background is a plus
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for billing, change calculation, and inventory management
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
