Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for guiding customers through their purchasing experience, offering product recommendations, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere while educating customers about our products.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide detailed information about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, and concentrates.
Utilize effective time management skills to handle multiple customers efficiently.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions.
Maintain an organized and clean workspace to enhance the customer experience.
Educate customers on responsible usage and safety guidelines related to cannabis products.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the dispensary.
Uphold all legal regulations and company policies regarding cannabis sales.
Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
Previous retail sales experience is preferred, particularly in the cannabis industry or similar fields.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
Proficiency in computer operation, including familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Excel.
Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
A background in hospitality or leadership roles is a plus, enhancing team dynamics and customer interactions.
A genuine interest in cannabis culture and knowledge of various products is highly desirable.
