Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tandoori Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic tandoori dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase expertise in Indian cuisine within a dynamic restaurant environment. A strong background in food preparation, cooking, and team management is essential to ensure the delivery of exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of traditional tandoori dishes with authentic flavors and presentation.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, including training, mentoring, and managing team members to maintain high performance.
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety protocols.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
Serve dishes to guests when necessary, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Maintain a positive team environment through leadership and effective communication.

Experience

Proven experience as a Tandoori Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry.
Supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, particularly tandoori cooking techniques.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards.
Prior experience in restaurant management or team leadership is preferred.
Familiarity with food handling regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
