INTRODUCTION:

Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1925 on a mandate that prioritizes providing meaningful employment for veterans and others committed to the well being of Canadians primarily in security guard and related services. Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services.

We are currently seeking a Commissionaire to join our growing team. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Your commitment to serving the needs of our clients and employees will encourage client and employee loyalty and enhance our organization’s success.

WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Conduct Vehicle Patrols
Conduct Foot Patrol of the buildings
Ensure no intruders are on the property
Ensure no theft of building materials
Respond to alarms, inspections, securing construction areas, access control

WE ARE EXCITED FOR YOU TO OFFER US:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma
*MUST* Ontario Security Guard License
*MUST* Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
*MUST* Have the ability to obtain Reliability (Level I) Security Clearance (resident in Canada 5 years or longer, clean record, clean credit history)
*MUST* Full G class license and Clean Drivers Abstract
Ability to speak/read/communicate in English (fluently), ability to speak French is consider an asset
The ability to work alone while maintaining a high level of service to the client is essential

WHAT THE JOB OFFERS YOU:

Job type: Temporary Backfill (6 - 8 weeks)
Hourly Rate of Pay: $20.00 per hour
Hours of work: 1800 to 0600hrs
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
- Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Location: Nottawasaga Inn - 6015 Highway #89 Alliston, Ontario
