Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver for Seniors to provide exceptional in-home care and support. This role involves assisting elderly individuals with daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for our clients. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families.

Duties

Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
Administer medications accurately according to care plans
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and clean environment
Monitor health status and report any concerns or changes to family members or healthcare professionals
Support clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times
Engage clients in recreational activities or exercises suitable for their condition
Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia or hospice care when required

Qualifications

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
Knowledge of patient care, medication administration, and senior-specific health concerns such as dementia or disabilities
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility support safely
Basic understanding of caregiving responsibilities including meal preparation and light cleaning
Certification or training in caregiving, nursing assistance, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
Patience, reliability, and a genuine desire to provide quality senior care

This position is vital in supporting seniors to live comfortably and independently while ensuring their safety and dignity. We value caregivers who are committed to compassionate service and professional growth.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
