Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in hair styling and customer service while working in a friendly, professional environment. The Junior Hair Stylist will assist senior stylists, provide exceptional client experiences, and contribute to the overall success of our salon. Ideal candidates are passionate about beauty, eager to learn, and committed to delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities

Assist senior stylists with hair cutting, styling, and coloring procedures
Greet clients warmly and ensure a positive salon experience
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health standards
Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs and offering product recommendations
Upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking clients in/out, and handling payments
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their preferences are understood and met
Support team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques and salon sanitation protocols
Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members
Ability to promote retail sales through effective upselling strategies
Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the salon environment
