About Us: Six Mile Pub is the oldest pub in British Columbia with a serious focus on food. We serve dishes that are familiar yet full of surprises, made with simple ingredients, thoughtfully sourced and prepared. We are looking for a Professional indivisual to join our team and help us continue to cater to our guests with the same consistency and standards.

Job Description: As a Kitchen Manager you will be the Assistant Team Captain of a hardworking, young team of career cooks interested in pushing limits and exploring innovative ways of nourishing the community. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the line in busy rush operations
Monthly inventory and recipe creation
Ensuring consistency and high standards in food preparation and presentation
Managing resources, labor, and costs effectively

Qualifications:

Strong line cook skills with experience in leading busy kitchens
Experience in corporate kitchens is an asset
Full-time availability with the flexibility to work morning and evening shifts as required
A positive attitude and strong leadership skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills
High ethical standards and energy
Genuine interest and knowledge in food, especially pure, sustainable, and made-from-scratch foods

Skills:

Team player with excellent resource management skills
Proficient in labor and cost management
Ability to coach and lead a team effectively
