As our team continues to grow, we're looking for a creative, tech-savvy Marketing, AI & Social Media Coordinator who is excited to bring fresh ideas, embrace new technology, and play a key role in growing the Selling Seaside Group brand throughout Greater Victoria.
The Opportunity
This position is ideal for someone who loves creating content, designing graphics, editing videos, experimenting with AI, and staying ahead of marketing trends.
You'll work closely with the Team Lead and our team members to create engaging marketing, maintain and grow our online presence, and continuously improve our systems and workflows using modern technology and AI.
This is a casual position averaging 10–15 hours per week with flexible scheduling. While some work is deadline-driven around new listings and events, much of the role can be completed independently.
What You'll Do
Social Media
- Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube
- Design graphics and carousel posts using Canva
- Edit Reels and short-form video content
- Schedule and publish social media content
- Assist with monthly content planning and content calendars
- Repurpose content across multiple platforms
- Monitor trends, algorithm updates and best practices
- Engage with comments and messages when required
Marketing
- Design listing brochures, feature sheets, postcards and other marketing materials
- Create email newsletters and digital marketing campaigns
- Prepare marketing for new listings, open houses, price adjustments and sold properties
- Assist with paid social media advertising
- Update website content and marketing materials
- Coordinate client events and promotional campaigns
- Ensure all marketing aligns with Selling Seaside Group's brand standards
- Maintain organized marketing files, templates and digital assets
AI & Innovation
- Use AI tools to improve efficiency and streamline marketing workflows
- Create effective prompts for content creation, brainstorming and research
- Edit and refine AI-generated content to match our brand voice and quality standards
- Assist in developing AI-powered systems and automations
- Research and recommend new AI tools that could improve the business
- Continuously look for smarter, more efficient ways to complete recurring tasks
Creative Support
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers and other marketing vendors
- Assist with listing launches and marketing campaigns
- Capture behind-the-scenes content when appropriate
- Help brainstorm new marketing initiatives and creative ideas
- Support special projects as the business continues to grow

Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will be proficient with:
- Canva
- Social media management
- Instagram, Facebook and YouTube (experience with all three is required)
- Video editing (CapCut, Adobe Express or similar)
- ChatGPT and AI platforms (experience with Claude, Gamma and Manus AI is strongly preferred)
- Prompt writing and AI-assisted content creation
- Google Workspace
- Microsoft Office
- Excellent written English
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience in real estate marketing is considered an asset but is not required.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first few months, you'll be confidently managing much of our day-to-day marketing, including:
- Consistent, engaging social media content (3–5 posts per week)
- Professionally branded listing marketing
- Organized content calendars
- Timely marketing for listings, events and campaigns
- Efficient AI workflows that save time without sacrificing quality
- Fresh ideas that continue to elevate the Selling Seaside Group brand
You'll play an important role in helping us remain one of the most trusted and recognizable real estate teams on the Saanich Peninsula and Greater Victoria.
Compensation & Additional Information
- Averaging 10–15 hours per week
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience
- Flexible scheduling
- Hours will vary from week to week based on listing activity, marketing campaigns, and business needs.
- Primarily work-from-home with occasional in-person meetings, content creation days, property visits, and team meetings.
- The successful candidate must provide their own computer, reliable internet connection, and smartphone capable of creating and editing social media content.
- Opportunity for additional hours as the business grows.
