The Role:

We are currently hiring Health Care Aides to work at a supportive living facility in Whitecourt. Please note, we are an agency.
Shifts are all 8 hours:7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am. You do not have to be available to work all three types of shifts in order to apply! You work the shifts that best fit your schedule.
You will assist with the day-to-day delivery of care and requirements of the resident
You will work closely with the multi disciplinary team to facilitate the best practices are being used
You will provide support to residents, their family and visitors during the resident's stay
Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Completion of a recognized Canadian Health Care Aide program
Active HCA registration on the Alberta Healthcare Aide Directory
Current CPR / First Aid Certification / Equivalency required
Previous experience in the area of Gerontology and Designated Assisted Living an asset
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in delivering excellence in customer service/patient care, employee communication and development

Successful candidates will be required to provide:

A current and clear Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Sector Search, done within the last 6 months
A copy of their active Alberta Health Care Aide Directory registration
