Full job description

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Banquet Server and Bartender, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences during special events, conferences, and gatherings. This energetic position combines the art of hospitality with the skill of food and beverage service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and satisfied. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable moments that keep guests coming back for more.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout the event or function
Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and tableware
Serve food and beverages efficiently, accurately taking orders and delivering them promptly to guests
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as per standard recipes and guest preferences
Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times to maintain hygiene standards
Clear tables, reset for subsequent service, and assist with event breakdowns as needed
Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred; experience in banquet or hotel settings is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and proper serving techniques
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
Food service experience including bartending skills such as drink mixing and cash handling is desirable
Hospitality background or hotel experience is advantageous but not required
