Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This dual role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our food service operations, ensuring that delicious meals are prepared and that the kitchen remains clean and organized. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Ensure that all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
Help with inventory management by organizing food supplies and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Clean work areas regularly to uphold hygiene standards.

Skills

Experience in a cooking or food service role is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen.
Good organizational skills to keep the kitchen area clean and orderly.
Flexibility to assist in various kitchen tasks as needed, including dishwashing and food preparation.
