Autobody Estimator

As an Autobody Estimator, you will report to the Body Shop Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate collision appraisals for customer vehicles including insurance claims . Your expertise will contribute to profitable and high-quality repairs, while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to customers
Thoroughly assess vehicles to determine the extent of damage across various aspects (structural, body, mechanical, electrical, refinish, and interior)
Produce accurate estimates in a timely manner by verifying information diligently
Maintain clear communication with clients and the body shop, ensuring exceptional customer service
Foster a friendly demeanor while performing duties within the body shop
Complete and upload all required documentation and paperwork accurately
Effectively document and communicate with insurance companies, including MPI
Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times
Utilize software programs
Thrive in both team environments and individual initiatives
Working along side of trained technicians
Excel in multitasking and organizing tasks efficiently
Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in work and communication

Qualifications:

Prior experience in automotive estimating, parts, or a related role
Outgoing personality with a proven track record in building customer relationships
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and skilled in prioritizing tasks
Impeccable attention to detail
Basic computer skills
