Full job description

Medcor Canada is looking to hire full time and casual AB Primary Care Paramedics for a project around Fort Saskatchewan. Must be local as there is no LOA or lodging. There will be day shift and night shifts available.

The PCP will provide workplace injury and illness care, urgent care, and emergency response in a construction environment. In addition, this position will provide support to the safety department and Project Management. It will require time interacting with the client and sub-contractors.

A typical day in the life of a Medcor Canada Practitioner:

Provide superior clinical care to Medcor Canada’s client and employees
Treat injuries and illnesses following Evidence Based Medicine standards
Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety and environmental practices
Collaborate with our client on clinical issues
Support client’s wellness and preventative programs
Document and manage information using an EMR and other tools

You Must

Be registered with the Alberta College of Paramedics at the PCP level
Have current BLS Certification
Have a valid drivers license

You Should

Be comfortable working in a clinic or truck/MTC
Be comfortable and productive working with computers and EMR software
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills – with patients, clients and colleagues
