Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and order in residential or commercial spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience in custodial or cleaning services. This role is vital in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients and visitors. Prior experience in commercial cleaning is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate. The position offers consistent hours and an opportunity to contribute to a professional cleaning team committed to high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
Change linens, empty trash receptacles, and restock supplies as needed
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks
Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure quality service delivery

Qualifications

Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred; experience in commercial cleaning is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
