Position Summary
We are looking for an IT Contract position to oversee end-user hardware, software, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, vendor relationships, onboarding and offboarding processes, and IT policies. This individual also leads technology projects, including the migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, and ensures employees have the tools and support they need to perform their work effectively.
This role requires a proactive, customer-focused professional who enjoys balancing strategic planning with hands-on technical support.
Qualifications
Required
· 3+ years in a Service Desk position
· Experience supporting 100+ users.
· Experience migrating from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.
· Experience developing IT policies and procedures.
· Excellent troubleshooting skills.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred
· Experience in a multi-site organization.
· Experience with cybersecurity best practices.
· ITIL Foundation certification.
· Microsoft certifications.
· Experience with network administration and firewalls.
Key Responsibilities
IT Operations
· Provide day-to-day technical support for approximately 150 employees.
· Respond to, prioritize, and resolve IT support requests.
· Maintain high levels of customer service and responsiveness.
· Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, printing, and connectivity issues.
· Manage vendor and licensing relationships and contracts
· Develop, implement, and maintain all standard IT policies
User Support & Service Desk
· Develop and manage the IT ticketing system.
· Develop standardized technology onboarding and offboarding processes.
· Develop service standards and documentation.
· Create self-service knowledge articles and user guides.
· Provide training to employees on technology best practices.
Hardware & Asset Management
· Manage and maintain an accurate asset inventory.
· Develop lifecycle replacement plans.
· Procure new equipment.
· Coordinate repairs and warranty claims.
· Standardize hardware across the organization.
Mobile Device Management
· Set up all company cell phones and service plans.
· Procure and configure new devices.
· Optimize mobile plans and costs.
· Support mobile device troubleshooting.
Microsoft 365 Administration/Migration
· Lead the migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.
· Configure and administer MS 365 applications
· Manage user accounts and licensing.
· Optimize Microsoft 365 functionality.
Cybersecurity
· Maintain secure technology environments.
· Manage antivirus and endpoint protection.
· Monitor security alerts.
· Coordinate software updates and patching.
· Implement Multi-Factor Authentication.
· Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
