We are looking for a meticulous and organized Bookkeeper to join our growing team and help us maintain our financial records with precision.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage all financial transactions for our boat survey business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities:

* Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable.

* Process invoices, receipts, and payments.

* Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.

* Prepare and maintain financial records, including the general ledger.

* Generate financial reports (e.g., profit and loss statements, balance sheets).

* Assist with payroll processing.

* Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.

* Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding financial matters.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.

* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

* Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).

* Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

* Strong communication and organizational skills.

Pay: $18.87-$32.42 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Algonquin Highlands, ON
