Full job description

For over 35 years, Country Signs has been the leader in new construction and refurbishing of gas stations across Canada. We provide a one stop shop for our customers including but not limited to, full installations, repairs, and service. We pride ourselves on doing whatever it takes to satisfy the customer with a ‘can do’ mentality.

We are currently looking for a dedicated, hardworking individual to join our team as a Sign Box Fabricator.

This is an onsite position. We are located North of Hwy 9 in New Tecumseth and there is no public transportation.

Job Title: Sign Box Fabricator

Reports to: Fabrication Supervisor

This position is responsible for using various machinery/tools to fabricate sign boxes according to customer requirements. The ideal candidate is someone who has excellent skills using hand/power tools and who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricating aluminum sign boxes according to drawings and specifications
Use Shearer and Brake to form sign box
Measure, cut, and bend various types of sheet metal into appropriate sizes and shapes
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Skills/Experience:

High School Diploma or relevant experience
A min of 1year of experience in aluminum fabrication
Previous sign box fabrication experience is an asset
Experience in Aluminum Welding
Experience using tools such as saws, drills, measuring tape
Knowledgeable in reading blueprints and drawings
Previous experience using brake and shear
Time Management
Excellent organization skills
Ability to lift 50lbs
