We are currently hiring a News Reporter in our Bancroft and Barry’s Bay Moose FM newsroom.

About the Job:
This is a full-time news reporting position, and you will be writing and recording stories for MyBancroftNow, MyBarrysBayNow.com and our daily on-air newscasts.
Description:
- Be an active part of the community
- Craft and voice local and regional newscasts
- Researching and writing news stories for online and on-air broadcast
- Contributing to and updating websites
Key Requirements:
- Experience working in a newsroom or equivalent journalism background
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- You must have a valid driver's license
- Solid on-air delivery skills with a desire to learn and improve
- Experience working in a newsroom or equivalent journalism background is an asset
- Meet daily deadlines
- Working familiarity with Adobe Audition, Newsroom, and on-air software
