Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and a strong understanding of garment construction and repair. This role involves working with various fabrics and materials to create high-quality products that meet our standards. The Seamstress will play a crucial role in ensuring that all items are crafted with precision and care, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

Operate sewing machines and other equipment to sew, hem, and finish garments and textiles.
Read and interpret patterns, specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
Measure, cut, and prepare fabric according to design requirements.
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the sewing process.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist in inventory management by tracking materials used and reporting shortages as needed.
Customer service; POS; answering phone as needed
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Seamstress or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Familiarity with various fabrics, sewing techniques, and garment construction methods.
Manufacturing or warehouse experience is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
