Full job description

Action Force transport is a growing business since its inception more than 20 years ago. The headquarters are located in Brampton Ontario, western terminal in Langley BC, central terminal in Calgary AB and eastern terminal in Montreal QC. The existing business is of long haul, LTL temperature controlled inter modal transportation from east to west coast in Canada.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Secretarial Support to Director of Sales: Manage calendars, coordinate files, screen inbound calls, and draft correspondence, arrange meetings, accompany as required, liaison on behalf.

Operational Issue Resolution: Investigate customer complaints regarding delivery delays, order errors, or product issues, working directly with operations to find fast solutions.

Operations Collaboration: Work side-by-side with dispatchers, fleet coordinators, and drivers to check lane capacities, delivery ETAs, and equipment availability before confirming client orders.

Finance Team Alignment: Work with finance team regarding customer and sales department matters.

Customer Relations: Keep sales track, manage correspondence, answer phone lines, craft clear and professional email communication.

Active Sales Assistance: Prepare spot quotes for shippers, track active RFQs, follow up on outstanding freight bids, and coordinate the onboarding process for new accounts.

Pipeline & CRM Management: Update customer profiles, log communications with freight brokers or direct shippers, and track won/lost lanes to give the Director accurate pipeline data.

RFQ Assistance: Collect background data from internal departments to assemble complete, accurate quote proposals for review.

Filing & Data Entry: Perform sales related data entry into the company software platform and keep a neatly organized workplace for swift information retrieval.

Excellent and confident communication skills.

Smart and quick decision maker.

Knowledge of GTA area.

Education & abilities:

College/University. Computer literate.

Salary:

Required experience:

2 years in logistics industry.
