Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Screen Printer and bring vibrant designs to life through precision printing! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality printed images on various substrates, ensuring each piece meets our standards of excellence. Your creativity and attention to detail will help us deliver standout products that captivate and inspire. We’re looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about craftsmanship and visual arts. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative setting while contributing to innovative projects.

Duties

Set up and operate screen printing equipment to produce detailed prints on apparel, promotional items, or other materials
Prepare screens by applying emulsion, exposing designs, and ensuring proper registration for accurate printing
Mix inks to achieve precise colours and consistency across print runs
Monitor print quality throughout production, making adjustments as needed to maintain high standards
Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot technical issues with screens or machinery promptly to minimize downtime
Collaborate with design teams to understand project specifications and translate digital designs into physical prints using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other graphic design software

Qualifications

Prior experience with screen printing or related manufacturing processes is required
Strong knowledge of screen-printing processes, inks, screens, and curing
Ability to accurately register and print multi-colour designs
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move boxes of garments and supplies
Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
