What will you do?

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our financial planning, cost controlling and reporting. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage advanced analytics, and help drive meaningful insights that support strategic decision‑making.

Core Financial Responsibilities

Be the financial partner to the department leader and prepare monthly cost center reviews with to help them manage and optimize their budgets.
Assist in developing the annual budget and forecast, analyzing actual results versus plan, prior periods, and business drivers.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including the preparation of journal entries, financial reports, and reconciliations.
Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and cost‑management programs led by the FP&A team.
Partner with Sales, Operations, and other business teams to gather, validate, and interpret financial information.

Sales & Planning Support

Respond to Sales team reporting needs, including requests related to sales planning and performance.
Contribute to the annual target‑setting process using global and local planning tools.

Process Improvements in Finance & Accounting

Enhance the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of month‑end close and reporting through AI and process automation, reducing manual work and streamlining routine tasks.
Identify and execute opportunities to digitalize and automate Finance processes, improving efficiency and reporting reliability.

[Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 75,000 CAD - $ 95,000 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits. In addition to base salary, this role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus of up to 10% of base salary, based on Company performance metrics.]

What will you need to succeed?

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance
4+ years of relevant work experience in accounting/finance
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint. Advanced Excel skills are preferred
Experience with Power BI and AI‑driven analytics is considered a strong asset
Familiarity with SAP is an asset
Strong analytical thinking and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies, interpret financial data, and support accurate reporting
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize findings clearly and collaborate with cross‑functional teams
Proactive, curious, and self‑motivated mindset, with a willingness to learn new systems, investigate issues, and contribute to process improvements
