Job Title: Front Desk Agent & Night Auditor

Department: Rooms Division

Reports To: Hotel Manager

Job Summary:

The Front Desk Agent & Night Auditor is a key member of the Guest Services team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to all guests at Calabogie Peaks Hotel. This role includes handling reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, promoting resort amenities, and completing nightly audit processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the hotel’s operations. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment while maintaining a fun and positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services:
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, providing exceptional service throughout their stay.
Assist guests with reservations for hotel rooms, recreational activities, and other resort amenities.
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Respond to inquiries and resolve guest issues promptly and courteously.
Administrative Duties:
Run nightly audit reports to reconcile daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Perform data entry, maintain guest records, and prepare reports as needed.
Answer phones, direct calls, and manage correspondence in a professional manner.
Operations Support:
Ensure the lobby and reception areas are clean and welcoming.
Perform overnight housekeeping duties including vacuuming, moping dusting etc.
Collaborate with team members to support seamless operations across the resort.

Job Requirements:

Must be able to work all shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility for short notice scheduling.
Strong customer service orientation with courteous and professional mannerisms.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
Strong oral, written, and phone communication skills.
Highly organized with strong administrative and data entry skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and property management systems.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while thriving in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for extended periods.
Light lifting, up to 25 lbs, may be required.
