Bookkeeper

About Enning Blinds

Established in 2017, Enning Blinds is a Calgary-based custom window treatment wholesale manufacturer and installer. We are dedicated to providing clients with superior quality and contemporary presentation via handcrafted blind, shades, related parts and a rigorous testing process.

For over 5 years, we have served residents all over Alberta and developed an excellent reputation as we continue to grow and expand.

Duties:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and vendor statements regularly.
Prepare and process payroll on a scheduled basis
Manage employee time clock records: review, verify, and ensure accuracy of hours worked, overtime, and leave entries.
Track employee attendance, vacation, and sick leave balances.
Prepare payroll remittances and government filings such as T4s, ROEs, and GST returns.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
Organize and maintain digital and physical financial documentation for audits and internal use.
Support management with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and cost analysis.
Collaborate with external accountants, banks, or payroll providers as needed.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

-Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

-Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work as part of a team.

-Critical thinking skills and creative.

-Ability to comprehend data and information accurately.

-Willingness to assist and support others.

-Strong clerical skills for data entry, email handling, filing, etc.

-Intermediate Microsoft (Word and Excel) skills is required.

Required Qualifications:

-High School Diploma or equivalent.

-Valid driver licence and reliable transportation.
